Laurie, Mike and the whole Feldmeth family,
I just learned of PJ's passing and am so sorry. I fondly remember all of the times we spent on the softball fields of Syracuse either playing or watching games! And who could forget certain establishments we visited after the games...the Poorhouse, N&H Taproom...My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I am sure your mom and dad welcomed PJ with open arms.

I worked at Community with Paul. I could call him up and he would run around and do anything for me, worked so hard and he really made my day so many times. We we’re both Met’s and Giants fans, he always asked if I saw the big game and he loved all my team gear. He knew my Dad growing up in the valley and would tell me all the stories. Also being in the men’s club with my husband and father in law. Caring and helping when I was battling cancer. Losing him is so very sad. RIP Paul, Community Hosp, The Valley, The Men’s Club will all miss your smile and friendly personality.

To be around Paul was to be in the presence of kindness, loyalty, and laughter. He wanted nothing more than for people to get along and be happy together. To experience Paul around his family was pure joy. Mrs. Feldmeth was always so welcoming. She was so intelligent and well-read. I loved listening to her talk about books she was reading. Mr. Feldmeth always encouraged me to be the best I could be, and his knowledge of sports was unsurpassed. Mike and Laurie showed interest in us "kids" and always made me feel welcome. A loving guy from a loving family. I count myself fortunate to have had these experiences and I will never forget Paul. Sending love to the Feldmeth family and all the Valley crew who might read this note.

I was very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Paul was one of a kind, and we all had alot of great times growing up around him. Paul was the guy that would make everyone laugh with one of his comments or actions, and would often bear the brunt of the jokes. Paul was always a very loyal friend, and always wanted only the best for everyone. Although I haven't seen him in many years, he will always be one of the memorable people that I had the pleasure of knowing. Rest In Peace My Friend.

First, our prayer for PJ from me and Marilyn, that “God may grant him peace in a place where there is neither sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life everlasting.”
Next, our confirmation of his love for the woods near Webster’s Pond as a boy. In particular we remember his delight at finding of a treasure-trove of antique ginger beer bottles in a spring there.
Further, our last meeting with PJ was at a Chief’s ballgame. By chance he sat right in front of us. We had our grandson with us and he was most pleased to meet with another baseball pitcher, especially so because PJ pitched a no-hitter for Corcoran High School.
And to cap off the encounter, PJ presented our grandson with a new baseball. As my old Army Sergeant would say, “Need I say more?”
Finally, it’s a sad day when one loses a Feldmeth. Our heartfelt sympathy to you all.

I worked with Paul for many years. He always greeted me with a friendly hello. There were numerous times where I was bringing a patient to a test and he would hold the elevator for me. Paul’s hard work, kind gestures, and dedication to his job did not go unnoticed. My condolences to Angie and family. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
