Dear Judy and family,
We send heartfelt condolences and hugs to you on losing John. We’ll always remember John doing yard work, keeping his flower gardens neat and trimmed, washing his cars and ready to chat with a big smile as we walked through our neighborhood. We’ll also remember seeing John, with delight, walking by with his beloved dogs Zoe and Maddie and unsure who was walking whom. He’s been missed and we’re very sorry he fell victim to Covid. May he Rest In Peace.

I served with John in the 403rd Civil Affairs Co/Bn from the late 80's until he retired. I served in Desert Storm and Bosnia with John and was very proud to serve with John, but to also know him as a friend. He always had a great attitude, and was always happy. Any time John's name came up in conversations, it was always positive about what a good soldier and person he was. He will be sorely missed. This year (90-91) is the 30 anniversary of the 403rd's deployment to Desert Storm which we will member him at.
Our condolences.
Mike Dunne
